Fiona Sinclair
Fiona is a Melbourne author and illustrator who loves type, pattern and nature.
Fiona works in illustration and design, focusing on education, typography, and pattern repetition. With a Masters of Creative Arts, a Bachelor of Education in Art, a Graduate Diploma in Graphic Communication, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Fiona has a rich educational background.
Her passion lies in designing children’s books and creating homewares and stationery. Her first children’s book Type has a Body…Just like you! is published by Butterfly Publishing and can be found in boutique bookstores and art galleries. Sustainability and ethical practices are integral to her work, including local production of tea towels, thoughtful ink and paper choices, and featuring Australian flora and fauna in designs to promote nature conservation.
Currently, Fiona serves as an Education Officer and Resource Coordinator for a design teachers’ organization, disseminating curriculum updates and developing resources for educators.

Debra Holford is a passionate and caring teacher’s aide residing in rural Victoria, Australia.
Debra Holford’s journey from struggling with undiagnosed learning difficulties to becoming a dedicated teacher’s aide is truly inspiring. Her lived experience gives her a unique perspective and empathy towards children facing similar challenges. It’s heartening to see her passion for helping children to flourish, and her decision to volunteer in community roles reflects her commitment to making a difference.

Collaborating with her sister, a speech therapist, Ina envisioned a cookbook that entices families while providing practical solutions for modified diets.
As a chef in a children’s hospice, Ina created meals that transcended sustenance. Parents and caregivers found solace in her kitchen, grateful for guidance on specialized foods.
Beyond the kitchen, Ina wears multiple hats: chef, food safety auditor, and trainer. Her vision persists—a cookbook accessible to all, especially those in need.

Marnie is a children’s book author, illustrator, publisher and portrait photographer based in Melbourne, Australia.
Marnie founded Butterfly Publishing, after being inspired by her own children’s challenges of dyslexia and eczema. She loves being able to simplify complicated subjects in ways that are easily understood, respectful and fun to look at and learn from.
Marnie wants children to know that there are solutions to challenges. By learning how you can manage eczema, dyslexia and other challenges, can be very empowering. This sets a child up believing they can change adversity and in turn direct their lives.
